Marcela is a true artist; her canvases just happen to be people. A native of Bolivia now living in Washington DC, Marcela perfected her craft by studying at internationally renowned hair design institutes, including the Tony & Guy Advanced Academy in New York City and the Alfaparf Studio in Milan, Italy. Her creativity, vision, and versatility as a hair and makeup artist has led her to numerous artistic consulting engagements spanning television commercials, fashion shows, and music videos. Perhaps her greatest asset, however, lies in her love for her work and dedication to her clientele, which includes the Washington DC political elite as well as entertainers and runway models.

Marcela creates customized styles at her studio, the Style Salon, in Kensington, MD, just outside of DC. Her latest project is the upcoming launch of her new gender neutral skin care line called FõM
